City community works.
Every Tuesday eveninga group of people, experienced in cycling in the city, get together in Saldanha for a ride around the city. Each LisBORA ride is defined by one of the people in the community, who makes and shares on WhatsApp the route map. O Meeting point is at 8 pm at Saldanha Square (in front of the Atrium)All the rides are about 1h30 long and always end with a social gathering at the end, with food and beer to mingle. Lights on the bike are mandatory and helmet is advised.
Once in a while, it's good to get out of the city. Get some air, another air, and discover new areas. This is the motivation behind LisFORA, a spin-off of the bicycle tour that takes place every Tuesday in Lisbon. There is no regularity for LisFORA: the tours are arranged when people feel like it in a WhatsApp group. The trips are always two days long and also allow you to gain experience and autonomy in cyclotourism. The trips are made by train, boat and bus if necessary. Join the WhatsApp group and find out about the next LisFORA.
If you are just starting to ride and still have some fears, or if you are looking for a more relaxed atmosphere, this is the ride for you. It takes place in second Sunday of every month, in the morning. The meeting point is at 9:30am at Saldanha Square (in front of the Atrium). Getting started in Lisbon gets easier and more enjoyable in the company of other bike riders; these tours seek to help with that. They are also great ways to make friends.

Once a year, in September, women come together on the city's most "fancy" ride. The Fancy Women Bike Ride is an international movement that landed in Lisbon in 2021. This ride is accessible, with a 5 km route and a very relaxed atmosphere from start to finish.
Kidical Mass is a global movement that seeks to respond to and make visible the need and desire of children and adults to use active modes of travel in their daily lives. With the motto "Space for the Next Generation", Kidical Mass takes place twice a year: May and September.
