There are two types of Navigator cards.
The card costs 12 euros and is valid for 5 years.
You can buy from Navegante Spaces and operators' attendance posts; or in Navigator Points.
The card costs $0.50 and is valid for 1 year.
You can buy at any automatic machine of any operator (Metro de Lisboa, CP, Fertagus, MTS, TTSL...) or in any in-person box office of any operator.
The Navigator Points are automatic machines where you can make a "Cartão Navegante" in 5 minutes. You just need to have with you your Citizen Card (CC) and a bank card.
The machine will extract some data from the CC, such as your photo, and ask you for the rest of the necessary information.
The process costs 12 euros. The Card is valid for 5 years.
At the machine you can then load the Navegante Card with the pass you want, including the Navegante 12 and the Navegante 65+. If you need to adhere to one of the modalities 4_18 or sub_23you can do it later in a face-to-face service station.
You can load the Navegante Card at any automatic machine or ticket office of any operator, as well as at the dealers and Navegante Agents network. But if you have a personalized Navegante, you have more options:
The ATM is the easiest and most convenient way to charge your Navegante Personalizado card. You can load:
→ load the next month's Navigator Pass (any modality) as of the 26th of the previous month;
→ load Zapping / Navegante Prepaid balance.
