Editing Sent Messages On Telegram: A Step-by-Step Guide

Fonte: LPP Wiki

Editing sent messages on The Platform is not a straightforward process, but there are workarounds to make it possible to edit or delete messages in private chats. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to edit sent messages on Telegram:

Unfortunately, Telegram does not allow users to edit their messages directly from the application, but there is a workaround that makes it possible to edit messages by deleting them first and re-sending them as new messages.

To edit sent messages on Telegram, you'll need to delete the message first, and then re-send the edited message. Here are the instructions to do so:

Find the conversation that contains the message you want to edit, 电报官网 and go to that conversation.
Press on the message you want to edit. This will bring up an options with various options.
On this options, select the "Remove" option. A confirmation will appear to ask if you are sure you want to remove the message.
Click on "Remove" to verify, and the message will be removed from the conversation.
Now that the message is deleted, you can re-compose the message with the changes you want to make. If the message you removed was part of a bigger conversation, it's a good idea to compose a new message and send it before editing the original message.
Once you have composed the altered message, compose it in the message window at the bottom of the chat pane.
Send the edited message by pressing on the "Post" icon or by tapping the paper plane icon at the bottom right corner of the chat pane.
The edited message will now be visible in the chat, and it will appear as a new message.

Note: Deleting a message and re-sending it as a new message does not send a message to the other members in the group or private chat, but they may realize that the message has been re-sent, so it's best to avoid re-sending messages that are completely different from the original one.

Another thing to be aware of is that if you re-send a message that was sent before, Telegram will automatically change the timestamp of the re-sent message to be the time stamp of when it was re-sent, not the original time stamp. This means that the re-sent message will appear in the chat as being sent recently, not when it was actually sent originally.

Keep in mind that while this method allows you to alter or remove messages on The Platform, it's not a built-in feature for doing so, but it's a solution to achieve similar outcomes. If you're in a group chat where multiple people are sending messages quickly, removing and re-sending messages may not be ideal for avoiding hype, especially if the other group members recognize the removed message or re-send.
