It is finally open to the public the Oriente Riverfront Parkin Braço de Prata. The park, on the bank of the Tagus, begins at the warehouses of Poço do Bispo Docks and extends northward along 600 meters of river frontageIt occupies almost four hectares.
Several old shipping containers, reconverted and installed along the park, evoke the memory of that place. There will be two cafeterias, a bicycle rental area, public toilets, a library module, and park maintenance support. These facilities should open soon.
The green area has a children's playground, lawns, and seating areas, and is crossed by a bike path. The Parque Ribeirinho Oriente will be extended, in a second phase, to the pier of the Marina Parque das Nações, in an area of 8 hectares and almost 1.5 km long.
