A shared lane on Rua D. Estefânia between Duque d'Ávila and the iconic Napoleão traffic circle that completes the cycling network in Avenidas Novas.
Left out of the actual project was an idea to turn the junction of Rua D. Estefânia and Avenida Duque de Ávila into a sort of cycling traffic circle. This can be seen in the published project for Avenida Defensores de Chaves, which can be found here. This traffic circle would better connect the Estefânia shared road with the existing infrastructure, as well as resolve some conflicts with pedestrian crossings on Duque d'Ávila.
