O Bairro das Estacasone of the most emblematic in the parish of Alvalade, has been renovated with green spaces, enhancing the public space, pedestrian mobility and urban furniture. The project, financed by Lisbon City Council and carried out by the Alvalade Parish Council, respected the original design of Gonçalo Ribeiro Telles.

In this way, distinctive elements of the neighborhood were preserved, such as the macaca game in one of the courtyards and the limestone stones. According to the Junta de Freguesiaintervention "allowed the increase in soil permeability by 14 %by expanding green spaces and replacing sidewalks". There are also "a new playground, which now occupies an area of 400m2, doubling the space previously dedicated to the youngest". Eight trees were also planted (three ash trees, two garden plums, a magnolia and two hollies) and around 10,000 shrubs and herbaceous plants.

The Junta also highlights mobility improvements such as 30 new car parking spaces, eight for motorcycles and a new bicycle parking space on the side of the Maria Matos Theatre, on Rua Pedro Ivo and next to the Jardim Market, the lowering of four crosswalks and the implementation of a path suitable for disabled mobility.
