It is incomprehensible how in 2020, in large-scale construction projects, mistakes like this can be made. On the one hand, in Plaza de España, the narrow sidewalk leading to a bus stop is invaded by a pole and a sign.
On the other hand, in Rua de Campolide now the avenue has been widened, the sidewalk is so narrow and with the pins it gets even narrower - all because, although that artery now has 4 instead of 2 lanes of traffic, they still thought that a row of parking on each side made more sense than a wide and comfortable pedestrian area.
It seems to me that in neither situation will a wheelchair get through, or if it does, it will be with difficulty.
