Cycling workshops can spring up anywhere. All it takes is community and will. In Belém, where a Bicycle Train was formed, parents and children decided to start a cycle workshop, i.e. a community bicycle workshop in which everyone can participate and help each other. There are several cycloficinas in Lisbon and the one in Belém is the latest to join the ranks. a list that includes more and less formal initiatives.
With the sponsorship of Cicloficina dos Anjos, which provided a tool kit, the Cicloficina de Belém will be especially geared towards the school community and will operate in the gardens of the Praça de Goa, next to the school EB Bairro do Restelo.
