New bike paths in Lisbon, update January 2021. Avenida Marechal Gomes da Costa is getting a cycle lane that will connect Areeiro/Alvalade directly to the river and Parque das Nações, also giving access to a number of once inaccessible stores, such as Staples and Lisbon's largest Decathlon store. In Parque das Nações, the Alameda dos Oceanos cycle path is being extended to the south.
In Telheiras, the street that runs in front of the stadium and connects to Alameda das Linhas de Torres will be made cycleable with a Defensores de Chaves-style lane. In Lumiar, Rua do Paço has almost been renovated and is also a good cycling corridor. Down by the river, Doca da Marinha has a cycle path that is almost finished and still to be opened.
