One is next to the Urban Beach nightclub, between Santos and Cais do Sodré; the other at Doca do Bom Sucesso, in Belém. These are two new stretches of bike lane to discover by the river.
There was already a bike path running in front of Urban and next to the K space, but the reorganization of a parking lot in that area led to a revision of the route. The bike path now makes a longer but not too long turn - painted green and well marked, it passes between some trees that provide shade and puts us in direct view of the Tagus.
Already at Doca do Bom Sucesso a new connection was created that gets the bikes out of the pedestrian zone, avoiding some unnecessary conflicts. Despite having too many traffic lights, this bike lane is a good addition to the map. Too bad the work was not used to solve other areas where pedestrians and cyclists do not coexist very well in the same space, such as the crossing next to the gas station right there.
