The Portuguese Cycling Federation (FPC) usually looks at cycling as a sport, but it doesn't want to forget those who use it for everyday commuting or for leisure time and non-competitive physical activity. That's why it has launched an advertising campaign in which it seeks to bring together everyone who cycles - whether for sport, utility or leisure.
The campaign stars professional cyclists João Almeida and Maria MartinsThe aim is to promote offer of personal accident and liability insurance that the FPC has for professional, amateur and everyday cyclists. "Cycling is for everyone. So is the Federation. Join and ride safe" - This is the motto of the campaign, which aims to remind us that the FPC is also the home of all people who use bicycles.
Symbolizing the union between the different profiles of practitioners, João Almeida and Maria Martins appear equipped to race, but also to enjoy the bicycle in a relaxed way, showing at the same time that this vehicle has no gender. "For those who already use bicycles in a sporting, recreational or everyday context, registering with the Portuguese Cycling Federation is as easy as pedaling", can also be read in the promotional materials.
