Re-launched in 2020, the Shifter is a community magazine that appeals to the mind, connecting themes of society, culture and technologyThe project, which is part of SCML's entrepreneurship hub, promotes the development of critical discourse on current issues of interest to Casa do Impacto's community of changemakers.
"This cycle of exploratory talks is as much a moment to bring the community together as it is learning for everyone - learning more about the challenges of the job can help incubated startups solve problems and come up with solutions that haven't yet been implemented, for example. The desire to bring these meetings together is to address urgent social and environmental problems and enable the creation of positive impact from the Casa do Impacto."explains Inês Sequeira, director of Casa do Impacto.
To João Gabriel Ribeiro, editor of Shifter, "It's a unique opportunity for us to create unique moments in a space as accessible and open as Casa do Impacto, which end up being the culmination of many years of work on the big issues of the moment. It's a way of not only making the reflections that concern us reach more people, but also of humanizing and socializing these issues, getting to know each other and better understanding the desires and needs of those involved."
