One at Sete Rios interface, another at IPO, one next to the bicycle path at Conde de Almoster Street, three in Benfica (including the train station), one at LISPOLIS and two in Alcântara. There are now 138 GIRA stations in operation.

They open this Friday afternoon, September 30, eight new GIRA stations in the northern and western parts of the city. One of the new stations is the one serving Sete Rios public transportation interface, station 438It can be used with the suburban and some regional and long-distance trains, with the suburban and long-distance buses, and with the Zoo subway station.

Also available in the Sete Rios area is the station in front of the IPO, on Rua Professor Lima Basto, served by a bicycle path. Three new stations are also open in Benfica - the Fonte Nova Shopping Center station, the Benfica train station (which becomes the closest station to the municipality of Amadora) and one in the intersection of Rua Conde de Almoster (which has a bicycle path) with Rua José dos Santos Pereira. In Carnide, the Lispolis station, Lisbon's technology center, is now available. The GIRA station that serves Carnide's subway has not yet opened, nor the station placed in the neighboring parish of Lumiar next to Pingo Doce.
In Alcântara, two new stations open: one in Rua de Cascais, and another in Avenida da Índia, more specifically in the Praça das Indústrias. The four GIRA stations installed in Belém several months ago do not open in this batch, as the Parish Council has pressed for them to be reinstalled elsewhere. One of these four stations has already been changedThe station that had been placed at the bottom of Torre de Belém Avenue is now on the sidewalk next to the Governor's Hotel, freeing, in practice, two parking spaces.
The eight new stations, which translate into 189 new docks for GIRA bikes, can be found at the following points:

- 520 - LISPOLIS/Rua Cupertino Miranda (Carnide)
- 507 - Rua José dos Santos Pereira/Conde de Almoster (Benfica)
- 508 - Benfica Train Station (Benfica)
- 509 - Fonte Nova Shopping Center (Benfica)
- 436 - IPO/Rua Professor Lima Basto (São Domingos de Benfica)
- 438 - Sete Rios Interface (São Domingos de Benfica)
Lisbon's public bicycle sharing network will now make available 138 stations GIRA in operation, which represent more than 2680 docks for bicycles. The opening of these eight stations is part of the expansion plan of Lisbon's public bike sharing system and reinforces GIRA's role as an alternative means of mobility to the car in the city. Lisbon's public network has a fleet of 1600 bicyclesthe vast majority electric. Cumulatively, GIRAs have already surpassed 6.5 million trips in the city and cycled more than 18 million kilometers.
