To improve the collection and recycling of waste that doesn't have space in ordinary recycling bins, Lisbon City Council has set up three "mobile recycling centers" around the city. Find out where and when to find them.

Light bulbs, coffee capsules, cork stoppers, spray cans, pots and pans, small appliances, and packaging with leftover paint. If you are asked how to recycle these products, you probably don't know the answer. There are rare objects that we don't know what to do with so that they can be reused or turned into new things.
In order to improve the collection and recycling of this waste, which has no space in ordinary recycling bins, Lisbon City Council has set up three "mobile ecocenters" around the city. Each ecocenter will be at each location for three days a month, according to a fixed schedule.

The "mobile ecocenters" will be located in places where residents pass through regularly, on a rotating basis, and will have a schedule defined to cover all the city's parishes. The waste collected at these points will then be deposited in the containers of the Lisbon City Council's removal support parks until it is sent for reuse and recycling by a licensed operator.

You can deposit it in the Mobile Ecocenters:
- tubular (long) or normal lamps;
- coffee capsules;
- cork stoppers;
- packages with remains of solvent products and paint;
- spray cans;
- cutlery, pots and pans;
- small appliances;
- CDs and DVDs;
- ink and toner cartridges.
The "mobile ecocenters" project kicked off on January 10th. Incidentally, if you have any doubts about where to dispose of the strangest waste you have at home.., goes through this page of the Câmara de Lisboa website.
