"Mobile ecocenters" received more than 14,500 kg of waste in their first year

Lisbon City Council's "mobile ecocenters" continue to circulate around the city. In them, you can deposit waste that doesn't have space in conventional recycling bins, such as small electrical appliances and coffee capsules.

Since January 2023, the "mobile ecocenters" have been have already received more than 14,500 kg of waste, mostly small household appliancesand contribute to achieving the city's recycling targets. This equipment circulates between Lisbon's 24 parishes, according to a fixed schedule; and returns to each location every two months, where it remains for six days.

Although small household appliances are the most popular items in these "mobile ecocenters", it is also possible to leave cutlery, pots and pans, packaging containing leftover solvents, paints, aluminum coffee capsules, light bulbs, ink cartridges and other household items. tonersor cork stoppers.

The "mobile ecocenters" help with the recycling of waste that we don't quite know where to put. To find out the location and timetable of the "mobile ecocenters" by parish, you can consult this page of the Lisbon City Council or down here:
