The garden that until recently was exclusive to Caixa Geral de Depósitos employees is now open to the public, with free admission.
Filled with artificial lakes and fountains, the garden is very cool and has several seating and resting areas, a lush green lawn and some enigmatic statues. Before being opened to the public, the garden underwent some safety and accessibility improvements, guaranteeing access to citizens with reduced mobility from a new entrance on João XXI.
The garden, called the Box Garden, will be open during the summer between 9 a.m. and 9 p.m. every day, closing at the Invento at 5:30 p.m.
