
In the summer, the Alameda dos Oceanos saw its cycle path extended north to the limits of the municipality of Lisbon with Loures and now the continuation will be made to the south. The existing section will be improved and where the bike path was a sidewalk a decent floor will be built. This bike path is one of the paths used by Bicycle Trains.
The work begins on November 23rd and, lasting 120 days, should be completed by the end of March 2021. In practice, the bike lane will be created according to the graphic standards and design that has been applied in recent years throughout the city, which will also translate into safer bike crossings for its users and better signposted for motorists.
