A proof that, more than that, it is a popular party.

There will be no cycling race in Lisbon more popular than this one. The historic Valley Hill Climb will be held again in 2021, 67 years after the last edition. And this 2022 the party was repeated. A proof that, more than that, it is a popular party - a party where everyone is welcome, regardless of age, gender, and physical ability. The inclusion factor is taken so seriously that it is even possible to compete on an electric bike.

The big challenge is to climb the steep and challenging Rua do Vale de Santo António, with its steep slope. Despite the demanding nature of the race, taken very seriously by everyone (or, at least, by the vast majority), the smiles brought by the participants show that the most important thing is having fun, being there, and enjoying the experience.

And those who choose not to pedal in the Rampa do Vale Hill Climb can still participate, supporting those who pedal, from the street or from their window. Yes, this year there was also a prize for the "most beautiful and decorated" balconyIt is open for all residents to participate.
