EMEL is leading a survey to find out what the needs and concerns of people with reduced mobility in Lisbonwith a view to "creation of a digital tool to support navigation in the city". The company wants to talk to these people.

In particular EMEL seeks manual or automatic wheelchair users, users of adapted bicycles and people over 70 with reduced mobility. EMEL is looking for both Lisbon residents and people who live in Greater Lisbon but travel regularly within the city.

The interviews will last approximately one hour and will be carried out online. People who fit the profiles sought and who are interested and willing to take part in this research project can write to projetos@emel.pt.

After the interview, EMEL will ask each participant to fill in and send in a document about their journey in the city "in order to learn about the travel planning process and existing service or information gaps". Participants will receive a check for 30 euros to spend in the city's Lojas Com História stores.

This EMEL research project is part of the VoxPopThis is a project to digitally transform Lisbon's mobility system, which started in 2019 and aims to create new solutions for those who move around the capital.
