The Lisbon Municipality has been creating new BUS lanes to improve the circulation and frequency of public transport. These new corridors have a new signaling with the color blue in order to make them more visible to other vehicles.
At the end of May, two BUS lanes were completed, one in the Duque d'Ávila Avenue between Avenida Marquês de Tomar and Rua de Dona Estefânia, and another in the central lane of the exit of Avenue from the Bridge to Alcântara. Already at the end of July, a lane reserved for public transport was born in Infante Dom Henrique AvenueThis one is shared with motorcycles.
