The festival that opens Lisbon's gardens is going for its 6th edition and, for the second year in a row, the gates open in both seasons. The Fall edition of Open Gardens will take place over two weekends: October 17/18 and 24/25, and in two formats - in-person and virtual.

The program will feature new gardens, guided tours and walks with experts, many workshops, and activities for the whole family. The initiative Green Balconieswhich bloomed the facades of five buildings in the spring, is back and will green four more Lisbon facades. The actions will take place every morning of the festival.

The in-person visitation model and the group activities will be adapted to the new reality, and all the measures indicated by the Directorate-General of Health will be taken. Some activities require prior registration. The virtual edition will take place through YouTube.

The closing of the festival takes place in the Prรญncipe Real Garden, on October 25th, with a market selling plants and botanical and garden-related items.

This is an entirely free event.
