"In the spirit of community that we're building, we mustn't forget the younger players who will soon be the future of the community of basketball fans and practitioners. We want them to connect with the sport and have fun practicing it with their families and friends"explains André Costa, co-founder of Hoopers, in a press release.

"We've done several projects for a younger audience, but this was the first time we were able to put our work on a sports field floor. We're very pleased to have been able to create a new space for children, giving it vibrant colors and bringing them closer to sport and fun"say Francisco and Meggie from the artistic duo Los Pepes.
For Maria da Graça Pinto Ferreira, president of the Santa Clara Parish Council, "this is an important project because it will make it possible to complement the sports and leisure offer that already exists in that location, reinforcing and promoting the use of public space by young people".
A number of activities are planned for this new space in order to make it more dynamic and known to the whole community, without ever forgetting the children. This intervention began on May 3rd and the space is already in use. open to the public.
