Discovering Portugal by bike is what National Cycle Tourism NetworkThis is a map with routes from north to south that Paulo Guerra dos Santos has been developing over the last few years. Each year there is a new edition and with each new edition there are new routes. This 2021 map is available with 5808 km and 19 routes to cycle around the countryIt can be used as early as the beginning of next year for good rides.

The National Cycle Tourism Network's project takes shape every year in the so-called Road Book, the book that details all the wheels, includes various maps and comes with GPS files that can be placed on a suitable device to help with navigation.

The 2021 Road Book can be purchased for 58.50 euros in the online store. But with the promo code "Cycling is the best vaccine for 2022" is 38.02 euros until December 31st. The purchase of this Road Book will help fund the next edition.

The National Cycle Tourism Network book identifies roads with little traffic, but also cycle paths, ecotours and macadam roads where it is possible to cycle comfortably. In the 2021 edition, 5808 km have been identified, which translates into 19 different routes and 137 walks of between 30 and 50 km eachThese can be done in a weekend or over several days, alone, with a partner or with friends. In each Road Book there are detailed guides to each route, tips on what to visit in each place, suggestions for stops and even a map for you to print out and sketch your trip.

The National Cycle Tourism Network project is non-profit, and the price of the Road Book reflects Paulo's efforts to record and organize the different routes and routes throughout the country.
