Lisbon City Hall launched a free shuttle service between Campo Grande and Cidade Universitária. Next week the Metro will launch a similar service but also covering the neighborhood of Telheiras.

Started working this Thursday, May 18th, a service of back and forth free of charge between Campo Grande and Cidade Universitária. Assured by the Lisbon City Hall with recourse to Carristur buses, this service operates on weekdays, in the morning and afternoon rush hours, seeking to mitigate the impacts of the Metro works in the lives of university students.
The buses, green in colorare always circulating between Campo Grande and Cidade Universitária, from 6 to 10 am and the 4 to 8 PM. O back and forth has only two stops: one at the so-called "terminal 2" bus station at Campo Grandemore specifically in Rua Actor António Silva, where the 767 and the 701 stop; and another one in University CityThe 778 temporary stop, next to the Cantina Velha (near the GIRA station).

The course will last about 10 minutesdepending on traffic conditions. The frequency depends on the length of these trips and the time it takes to pick up and drop off passengers at each stop. For now, three buses are running on this service (four are planned). The vehicles, because they belong to Carristur (Carris' tourist and rental bus company) do not have validators, so the use of the back and forth is free.
How does the "back and forth" of the Chamber work?
- business days in the morning, between 6 and 10 amand in the afternoon, between 4 and 8 PM;
- only two stops: one in Campo Grande (Rua Actor António Silva); another in University City (next to the Old Cantina);

- free use.
The service of back and forth launched by the Lisbon City Hall with Carristur comes to complement the reinforcements that Carris had already performed in the Campo Grande area.
