In this journey, we start from the network model and the meanings of the word "network" to, through direct engagement with the place and its diverse communities, cross Trafaria on foot, based on network practices. A walk that incorporates geographical and physical characteristics, stories and memories, in a political and social space..

Participation in the activity is free of chargebut requires registration via email [email protected]. This registration is necessary to activate the personal accident insurance. After registration, an e-mail will be sent with directions to the meeting point and other useful information for the walk.

Registration is now open until September 20.

These walks are a research project developed by Maria Gil since 2014 in collaboration with artists and specialists from various fields, with the premise of bringing the body closer to the territory through the act of walking. In these walks, we do not seek to create a particular aesthetic - are not ongoing shows, but there is room for sharing practices such as observation and listening exercises, poetic readings, among others, which facilitate a sensitive interaction with the different territories traveled through.

How to get to Trafaria? From Lisbon, you can take the ferry at 9:30 am at Belém station and return at 13:30. The boat ticket is the responsibility of each participant and is not included in the walk registration.
