They open next Monday, December 26, 15 new Navegante Spaces in the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML), anticipating the arrival of the Carris Metropolitana service to the North Bank. Of the 15 new Navegante Spaces, most will open in the most populated municipalities; this is the case of Sintra and Loures which will have three; Amadora, Odivelas, Oeiras e Vila Franca de Xira will have two; in Mafra will open only one.
The Navegante Spaces are a new generation of service points for public transport passengers in the LMAwhich is being premiered mainly with the launch of Carris Metropolitana. At these Navegante Spaces it is possible to make the Navegante card in a few minutes, charge the monthly pass or buy occasional tickets, solve problems and get information on public transport. At Carris Metropolitana's Navegante Spaces, it is possible to get a more focused service on the new AML bus service, be it to get information on lines, schedules and fare pricing, to find or report objects lost on the buses, or to make suggestions/complaints.
Currently, there are 11 Carris Metropolitana Navigator Spaces in the South Bank, to which 15 will now be added in the North Bank - a total of 15 in the North Bank. a total of 26 Navegante Spaces. The opening of these new service points in Amadora, Oeiras, Sintra, Loures, Mafra, Odivelas and Vila Franca de Xira takes place on the 26th of the current month, when it is possible to start loading the Navegante card with the pass for the following month (of January 2023).
